GUIDELINES FOR THE CLUB
These Guidelines form part of the Terms and Conditions for the Company's loyalty scheme known as "The Club". Any capitalised term referenced herein shall be defined within the aforementioned Terms and Conditions.
The Company reserves the right at all times to vary these Guidelines without notice to the Members at their sole discretion and without liability.
Registration
Registration may take place on line at the Website or off line using the application form in The Club brochure. Members who join off line will be asked to activate their account online independently.
Migration
Active Members (account activity within the last 12mths) from Macdonald Club shall be Migrated to The Club and shall be given the following status:
- Personal Member - Club Member
- Gold Member - Elite Member or By invitation Member
The status of all migrated Members will be reviewed after 12 months. To maintain Elite Member status requires a Member to stay over 30 nights per annum or spend £3,000 per annum at Participating Premises within the Company's portfolio. On the anniversary of their achieving Elite status, any Elite Member who does not fulfil these criteria shall move back to Club Member status. By Invitation is by personal invitation only.
Identification
Members are identified through their Membership number which is attached to their profile in the Company's property management system, OPERA (or such other system as may be in place from time to time).
Earning and redeeming Points as a Club, Elite and By Invitation Member
The earning rate for Club, Elite and By Invitation Members is 1 Point for every £2 spent at Participating Premises.
The number of Points required for a stay at a Participating Premises is linked to the Company's best available rates and as such will vary according to Participating Premises, time of year and day of week. The Points required for room redemption as well as Macdonald and Partner Voucher redemption shall be available on the Website or obtained through the Member's dedicated telephone number.
Online account management
Members may manage their own account online at the Website, with access to bookings, redemptions, statement of Points and all other relevant information.
Communications
The Company will communicate regularly with all Members by email, offering incentives and rewards for earning and redeeming Points.
One annual statement will be sent by email to all Members each year. In years 1 and 2 of the new programme, Members may opt to receive their statement by post.

CORPORATE MEMBER
Club Corporate is open to anyone over 18 who books hotel rooms or meetings on behalf of others employed within the same organisation. It is not open to employees of travel agencies, hotel booking agencies or meetings and incentives agencies. Registration is online
The earning rate for a Corporate Member shall be 25 Points per room night booked at Participating Premises and 1 point for every £4 spent on meeting rooms (based on the final invoice net of VAT) at Participating Premises.
